Note about the first two images in this gallery: In 2017, Thomas Simpfendoerfer and I collaborated on a series of photographic portraits, each acting in turn as photographer and subject. Both of us had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I was in recovery from a successful operation to remove the cancer and later proceeded to print results of the collaboration.
